How to get wireless Macau internet access

Wireless Macau internet access is slowly and surely gaining ground in Macau. The main Macau Internet provider, CyberCTM, offers citywide Wireless Broadband Service. Several hotels and the conventions centers also offer wireless internet access. Wireless access is also available in the airport.

CyberCTM also offers fixed broadband internet, using ADSL, which is already widespread. By March 2005, more than half of all Internet subscriptions in Macau were broadband-based. Macau internet services of cyberCTM includes 56K Dial-up Access, ISDN Access, Broadband Access and Lease Line Access.

The following is the latest list of Macau internet hotspot locations. CTM Macau is aggresively expanding the list and so it may change anytime. Basically wireless internet access is available near CTM shops, in participating Cafe and Restaurants and CityGuide Kiosks.

Wireless Macau internet access in Macau Hotels CyberCTM has selected ST to provide wireless and wired Internet service to hotels in Macau. The first hotel batch consists of five hotels including Hyatt Hotel, Holiday Inn Hotel, Kingsway Hotel, Pousada Marina Infante Hotel and New Century Hotel.
