Taoist Temple of Lu Zu
The Taoist Temple of Lu Zu was constructed in the 19th year of Guongxu Reign (1893). There are couplets on the gata: “When Lu Zu returns from the Island Penglai, the moon over the river nearly fades from the sky; when finishing the banquet of Yueyang, it has come to the autumn.”
There are Hall of Lu Zu and Hall of Three Palaces, dedicated to Lu Zu, Kun Lam Zhunti, Local God of Land, General Shi of Qianshan, Emperor Ziwei of Celestial Palace, Emperor Qingxu of Terrestrial Palace and Emperor of Water Palace.
Nuwa Temple
The Nuwa Temple, also called Temple of Rock Divinity, was constructed in the 14th year of Guangxu Reign (1888). There are couplets on the gate: “The magic power reaches th whole territory and the benevolent waves flow to the most distant place; the virtue is marvellous that the rock guardian of the Lotus Mountain blesses the land.”
The temple is dedicated to Goddess Nuwa and Dragon-Mother of Yuecheng.
Temple of Lu Ban
Situated in Rua da Cal, the Temple of Lu Ban, also called Temple of Master, wasn’t constructed later than 10th year of Xianfeng Reign (1860).
There are couplets on the wall: “The criterion of work remains for ever and the virtue is appreciated by later generation.” The temple was constructed by Rendentang, an association of professionals of civil construction of Macao, and later reconstructed many times.
Hong Chan Kuan Temple
Located at Rua de Cinco de Outubro, the temple of Kang Zhengjun, also called Temple of Hong Kun, constructed in the 10th year of Xiangfeng Reign (1860), is a temple of a large scale.
There couplets in the gate: “Merits are shown in the register of the kingdom; supernatural powers are demonstrated to heaven.”
The Temple of Hong Kun is dedicated to Marshall Hong Kun, Two Immortals of Harmony, King Hung Seng, Goddess of Polien, Liu Zu, Hua Tuo, Goddess Kam Fa, God of Wealth, Monkey King, Peach Blossom Girl and Goddess Kun Iam.
