The Macau Grand Prix Museum

The Macau Grand Prix Museum celebrates one of the most awaited and celebrated events in Macau every year in November.

The Macau Formula 3 Grand Prix is the single most important race in the Formula 3 season each year, a distinction which is the envy of circuits across the globe, most probably because the Macau circuit is one of the hardest circuits in the world because of the sharp turns and the narrow street roads.

One main attraction of the Grand Prix Museum is the simulators. These simulators let the visitor experience the thrill of driving at above 200 kilometers per hour in a one-seater racing car.

One of these machines lets the rider become the driver of a racing car. He or she steers and races other drivers on the Guia Circuit through the television. The other one lets the visitor be the passenger of a real car driven in the 1995 Grand Prix.

Although the visuals of these simulators are just through a television, the thrilling experience is still the same. There are also televisions outside the simulators that allow the spectators to watch the riders' facial expression each time the car makes a sharp turn or when the car misses the grand stand by just a centimeter.
