Lou Kau Mansion Presents Jiangsu Arts

This month and next, the World Heritage-listed Lou Kau Mansion continues to host folk art shows featuring traditional handicraft workshops and demonstrations, including ivory and bamboo carvings from Yangzhou (15 December 2009 to 10 January 2010) and Cloth Sculptures and Perfumed Sachets (12 January to 7 February).

Lou Kau Mansion is a two-storey Chinese-style grey-brick building of great architectural interest, featuring Portuguese shutters and false ceiling in a unique collision of Macanese and Western styles.

Arts & Crafts Demonstration:
Time: noon to 7:00 p.m. (Tuesdays to Fridays)
10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays)

Workshop:
Time: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Saturdays & Sundays, excluding the final weekend of each show)
Admission: MOP20 (per 2-hour session)

Lou Kau Mansion Opening Hours:
9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Closed on Mondays & open on Public Holidays)
Admission free
